Statham wants to star in The Crow remake

British action star Jason Statham is pleading with studio executives to have him in the lead in the remake of The Crow, which starred the late Brandon Lee, the son of Bruce Lee. Brandon was killed when a prop gun was replaced with a real pistol for a scene, conatctmusic.com reports. Statham, who is keen to star in the remake, said: "There's talk of them redoing The Crow. That was a good movie. So, if that one comes my way, bang! There are so many comic book movies out there and most of the time there are only a handful of people who can do them any justice. Hopefully, they'll come my way for one of them."
