Sheridan grateful to fiancé for curing her singing phobia

Nicollette Sheridan is grateful to her fiancé, singer Michael Bolton, for curing her of her fear of singing because she believes she has no talent. The Desperate Housewives star had to constantly hear from her mom that she couldn't sing and so she avoided singing, contactmusic.com reports. She said: "My mother has an extraordinary singing voice. When I was little I never thought I was quite up to it. I'd sing around the house and she'd ask me to be quiet. She said I couldn't sing, so I chose to believe that. It was Michael who lured me out of my shell. He cured me. It was such a big achievement."
