Disneyland closed as Miley Cyrus celebrates b`day

Miley Cyrus' 16th birthday party was more boisterous than sweet. Cyrus celebrated the hallmark birthday at an over-the-top Disneyland celebration Sunday — even though she doesn't actually turn 16 until November 23. The theme park was closed for the supersized soiree, which included a four-song performance by the teen queen and a fireworks display above Sleeping Beauty Castle and 16 giant inflatable candles. "Miley is really hard to surprise," her father Billy Ray Cyrus said at the event. Organisers estimated over 5,000 people attended the special party, which cost $250 a ticket. On the event's purple carpet — that's Cyrus' favorite colour — the star of the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" bragged that her parents bought her a new puppy for her birthday. What else does Cyrus want for her birthday? A new car? Perhaps a later curfew? "My parents shut down Disneyland for me, so I'm good for a while," Cyrus said.
Cyrus' father opened up for his daughter with a few of his own songs, including "Achy Breaky Heart." His daughter donned a white ruffled skirt and jersey-like vest with "Sweet 16" printed on the back for her truncated concert. At one point, Cyrus boarded a boat in the park's Rivers of America and crooned such tunes as "Breakout" and "G.N.O." Throughout the evening, several popular attractions, such as Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean, remained open to partygoers. Additional activities, like receiving a "Hannah Montana" makeover and playing the upcoming Disney Interactive Studios rhythm video game "Ultimate Band," were also made available to attendees. Partygoers ogled celebrities roaming around the park throughout the party. David Archuleta and his entourage skipped the line to ride Space Mountain. Jennie Garth and her family ducked out before the fireworks display capping the celebration. Other stars in attendance included Steve Carell, Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Heather Locklear and Demi Lovato. Disney used the event to promote their upcoming "What Will You Celebrate?" marketing initiative, which encourages tourists to take "celebration vacations" with their families. Beginning in 2009, guests at Disneyland and Walt Disney World in Florida can gain free theme park admission on their birthday with a valid ID and proof of birth date. Over at Disney's California Adventure, Disneyland's sister theme park, an entirely different celebration was occurring during the Sweet 16 event: the 11th annual Gay Days Anaheim, an unofficial gathering of gays and lesbians at the Disneyland Resort. Event producer Jeffrey Epstein said Cyrus' affair didn't conflict with Gay Days Anaheim. "We're happy to share our big weekend with Miley," said Epstein. "While it may be a small world after all, we think it's big enough for both groups to have a blast."

They were all I had left of my husband. Now it feels like I have lost him all over again." Stellmach claimed to have "acquired" the ashes and threatened to smoke them as part of an art exhibition to "set free" the troubled genius. Sharon Stone wanted to botox eight-year-old son

Basic Instinct star Sharon Stone is an alarmist parent who overreacts to small things and her suggestion that her eight-year-old son get Botox injections to rid him of smelly feet is just one of her many parenting overreactions, a judge has said. A San Francisco Superior Court judge rejected her request to modify a 2007 custody decision that gave primary parenting duties for Roan to her ex-hubby Phil Bronstein and also turned down her request to move her son to Los Angeles for better medical attention. The court has released what it calls the 'Tentative Statement of Decision' that outlines a bitter, ongoing battle between Stone and Bronstein. Among many things, the judge said: "Mother (Stone) appears to overreact to many medical issues involving Roan." In one case, the judge describes Stone believing Roan had a spinal condition, but "there was no evidence to support this allegation". "Another example of an overreaction is that mother suggested that Roan should have Botox injections in his feet to resolve a problem he had with foot odour. As father appropriately noted, the simple and common sense approach (was) of making sure Roan wore socks with his shoes and used foot deodorant and corrected the odour problem without any invasive procedure on the young child," said the judge. The judge highlighted very distinctly the difference between Bronstein and Stone, saying: "Father has championed for Roan's well-being out of, what appears to this court, nothing less than the unconditional love for his son. Unfortunately, and for unexplained reasons, it appears that mother did not involve herself to the extent she could or should have in this process. Mother has attempted to put up roadblocks to Roan's getting help, or has decided against participating in his care. "Unfortunately, the problem caused by Mother's overreactions is painfully real for this child." The judge says at one point - responding to Stone's argument that she put her career on hold for Roan - "If Mother has, in fact, limited her career to make herself available for Roan, she has done little to make this evident to Roan, his school or this court". Stone's representative was not available for comment.

Megan Fox not ‘big enough’ to play busty superhero

American actress Megan Fox fears she is not “big enough” to play the part of a big-breasted superhero. Sources have revealed that the 22-year-old, who has signed on to play the role of alien babe Aspen Matthews in the much-awaited movie Fathom, fears that she will not be able to live up to the image depicted in the cult comic. According to them, the Transformers star studied the comics, and came to the conclusion that she would not be able to look like Matthews, who has been drawn with huge boobs that barely fit into the ultra-tight swimsuits. “She was really excited about the part but she’s now worried that she hasn’t got the boobs to satisfy the fans,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying. “The Fathom comics have a huge fan base of teenage boys and to them Aspen is a goddess. “Megan is panicking about being big enough to impress them,” the source added. Fox, who had faced claims in the past that she has already enhanced her 34B boobs, might just be tempted to go in for surgery to make them bigger, an insider said.
