Teen sensation Miley Cyrus has denied rumours that she’s deliberately trying to get fired from
Hannah Montana—the show that launched her.
The rumours began when Cyrus bragged that she would get fired, making it clear she wants to focus on singing and not the show.
According to TMZ, Cyrus and her country singer father Billy Ray Cyrus have been turning up late at the Hannah Montana set, stalling production and annoying the cast and crew.
Cyrus’ father has been spreading the word around the set that he and Miley will do 12 more episodes and then they are out, sources told TMZ.
However, Cyrus has denied the reports, stating that she intends to continue working with the show that made her an actress and is excited about the upcoming episodes.
"I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It's what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people," Cyrus told FOXNews.com through her representative.
"I’m really excited about our new season. We are making great new episodes that I can't wait for our fans to see and I'm looking forward to the Hannah Montana movie that will be out in the spring,” the representative added.
